Personal Information
- Steve Started playing volleyball in Rochester, NY, at the age of 10 for the Pace Bootlegger VBC. In 2001, he led his high school team to the New York State Championship finals as an outside hitter. Steve started the D III varsity volleyball team at Nazareth College of Rochester, where he played libero.
- After his graduation in 2006, he began assistant coaching for the Men’s and Women’s teams at Nazareth as well as coaching club for Pace Bootlegger. He spent four years coaching in New York before moving to Seattle to attend graduate school at the University of Washington. During the 2010-11 season, Steve was the intern for the Husky Women’s volleyball team and earned his Masters of Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership.
- He joined the SIVBC staff last year as our 14s Head Coach and will be our 16s Head Coach for the 2011-12 season.
