- Makes his home on Lake Sammamish with his wife, June, and daughters Alicia and Janet (when they visit from college), 5 cats, and lots of wildlife on the lake
- Spent the last 15 and a half years working for Microsoft
- When not spending time working with players and coaches on volleyball, enjoys piano, wakeboarding, raquetball, and playing board games with friends and family
