Jan. 24 - Recruiting TO DO's!

  1. U16-U18's - turn in your pink questionnaire to coach at next practice.
  2. Start creating your list of schools through research.
  3. Plan on sending an introductory letter or email before Las Vegas(U17-U18) or PNQ(U16).

Important keys for players on U12-U15 teams who want to play in college:

  1. Have fun, enjoy the game, make this season a positive experience.
  2. Work hard to improve every day - learn as much as you can.
  3. Focus on your schoolwork ao you will be prepared to succeed in college and eligible to play.
  4. Have fun! Live it up! If it isn't fun why would you want to keep playing?

The Recruiter's Perspective

Recruiters are bound by a recruiting calendar which dictates when and how they can contact players or parents. They will be getting many contacts of interests so you MUST BE PERSISTENT in sending emails telling them when you play. They have their wish list of players prioritized on need and you will also have your wish list of desires for a school and program. They will persist on who they want.
